Getting proposed to is one of the most special moments of a girl’s life. But asking your closest girl friends to embark on this amazing journey with you should be just as special! Custom bridesmaid proposal boxes are a great way to pop the question since you can customize your boxes to suit the individual personalities of your girls… and all the cute gifts will definitely get them excited for your wedding day! How can they say no?!
This post features the bridesmaid proposal boxes that I actually made for my own bridesmaids. I customized the message for each girl to reflect my relationship with her. However, I kept the gifts all the same except for choosing different colors that I knew each girl would like. Read on to get product links so you can make your own proposal boxes! Some items (like the coaster) were rare in-store finds, but you should let your imagination flow freely as you curate a box that will make your girls say “I do!”
Materials
- White gift box
- Assorted scrapbook paper. I used embossed paper for the outside, striped cardstock, and glitter cardstock to line the inside of the box
- Spray adhesive to glue the paper to the box. I love spray glue the best since sometimes liquid glue or Mod Podge can make your paper soggy and bubbly.
- Bridesmaid button pins
- Satin ribbon
- Cricut machine to cut out the names… or you can buy some cute sticker letters.
- Glue dots to hold the items in place
Inside the Box
- Small wine bottle with a custom label and ribbon. I called mine “Bridesmaid Booze”
- Essie nail polish
- Coaster
- Compact makeup mirror
- Mini candle
- Diamond paperweight
- Notepad
- Bridesmaid shot glass
- Body butter
- Lip gloss
- Assorted chocolates
